The Open in Browser Firefox add-on is now on GitHub (not really fresh news, it’s been there for a few weeks). That should hopefully make it simpler for people to contribute. Fork away! https://github.com/spasche/openinbrowser/
Navigating through large Apache (or other) directory indexes can sometimes be a bit cumbersome. Seeing a tree hierarchy of files and folders for quick navigation could help a lot.
TreeBrowse does just that. It is a simple tool that can show a browsable tree of files and folders from a directory index. It is available as a bookmarklet or you can use it by creating a simple HTML file.
Enough talk, let’s see how it looks. First, open this standard directory index to see how it looks before. Then go to this page, it should automatically build a tree of folders and files from the former directory index.
To install the bookmarklet and see more information about the tool, see the documentation.
